2008 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

New York, June 13, 2008 -- The board of directors of Managed High Yield Plus Fund (HYF) has set Friday, July 18 as the record date for determination of the shareholders entitled to vote at the Fund's annual meeting of shareholders, to be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008. The matter to be considered at the annual meeting is the election of directors.
