Upcoming CEF Forum and Trade Shows Provide
Opportunities for Investors

During the last eight years the Closed-End Fund Association has been participating in numerous events open to the public and to financial planners. These have usually taken the form of booth exhibits, panels and workshops at Money Show and Financial Advisor Symposium gatherings. We have been able to provide CEF investors with information, including useful websites and third-party data on our funds. We also have been able to help with navigation of this website’s features such as the Advisor Search and Lipper Fund Reports.
CEF Forum Coming May 7
For the past two years the CEFA has also presented Forums for investors and financial planners interested in CEFs. These Forums have included presentations from analysts, investors and fund managers in great locations near Dallas, Phoenix and Chicago. All have been well received and the majority of participants have indicated that these events were well worth coming to. Our next event will occur in the Atlanta, Georgia, area on May 7 of this year. This website will have all of the details shortly.
CEFA Members at Money Show
For those who cannot wait, CEFA members will have a booth at the World Money Show February 7-10, 2007, at the Gaylord Palms Resort near Orlando. We will have a panel on Friday, February 9 at 9:50am. If you can get to the Money Show, stop by booth #709 and meet with me and representatives from Adams Express, Tri-Continental, Bancroft Fund, Liberty All-Star Funds, Canadian General, Petroleum & Resources and Ellsworth Fund. If you ask for me and say you read this in the President’s Corner, I’ll have a CEFA.com shirt for the first fifteen of you.
